Terms of Service
1. Platform Fees & Commission
A 5% platform fee applies to the subtotal of every order, shown as a separate line at checkout. Delivery fees are calculated based on the destination state and shown before you confirm your order. Sellers are charged a commission on completed sales, which varies by listing type and is disclosed to sellers at the point of listing.
2. Seller Obligations
Sellers must accurately represent product condition, pricing, and availability, and fulfil orders within the stated dispatch window. Misrepresenting a product, repeatedly cancelling orders, or failing to dispatch on time may result in suspension of a seller's account.
3. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and confirming receipt of an order once it has been delivered. Payment is only released to the seller after the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically after a set period if no dispute is raised.
4. Payments & Escrow
All payments are processed through STRA's payment partner and held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. STRA does not store your card or bank details directly.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled by the buyer prior to dispatch, provided a valid reason is given. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead be handled through STRA Support.
6. Account Suspension
STRA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or repeatedly breach platform policies, with or without prior notice where necessary to protect other users.
7. Limitation of Liability
STRA acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers and facilitates secure payment and delivery coordination. STRA is not liable for the quality, legality, or safety of items listed by third-party sellers beyond the protections outlined in the STRA Buyer Protection policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of STRA after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
